Stay on established visitor paths and pause at safe viewpoints. You do not need to descend into the gorge to appreciate the scale of the hills.
Photograph the changing light
Bring a lens cloth and rain cover. Clouds can reveal and hide the valley within minutes. Stay behind barriers; no picture is worth stepping onto an exposed cliff edge.
Make time for Smit
Combine the journey with Smit and enquire about access to Ing Sad. Be considerate around ceremonies and residential spaces.
Tea, snacks and a slower afternoon
Small stalls sometimes operate near the viewpoint, but opening and food availability are not guaranteed. Bring water, a snack and cash, and carry your rubbish away.
